First, they are responsible for growingour climate prospect pipeline and for continuing to maintain a portfolioof prospective donors.

Second, they are responsible for socializing theClimate initiatives to VIP audiences internal to the Conservancy andcoordinating, networking, partnering with fundraisers internally toassist work with donors that support and/or are interested in Climate.

The DoD is a member of the Global Priorities Development Team (withinPrincipal Gifts) and as part of the Global Tackle Climate ChangeLeadership Team.

The Director reports directly to the Director of GlobalPriorities Development and works very closely with the Global ManagingDirector for Climate, Managing Director for Climate Programs, and therest of the Climate leadership team.

This position also manages theAssociate Director of Development for Global Climate. Specifically, theDirector is responsible for designing, building and executing a privatephilanthropic fundraising plan for the Conservancy\'s Global Climatepriorities.

There is a focus on raising flexible fundingto support TNC\'s global Climate Priorities and the work the Global TCCteam manages.

The Director will serve as aliaison with the principal gifts fundraising team and network, theglobal priority development team, as well as other key relationshipmanagers and senior conservation staff to build the best and most robustdonor strategies and solicitations.

This will help ensure we representand communicate the synergies between all of the global priority areasto our donors - what we call One-Conservancy.

Also, working withfundraising colleagues and the Global TCC team, the Director will helpprioritize strategic develo ment engagement at world stage events,including CoP and New York Climate Week
