What you'll do
Reporting to the Vice President of Digital, the **Associate Vice President of Online Assortment

  • CTC All Banners** will help develop and execute CTCs online assortment strategy by growing the platforms vendor count and product offerings, driving increased web traffic and sales conversion, and developing vital partnerships with our Merchandising Leadership across Canadian Tire.
  • Digital lead accountable for establishing and communicating the strategy to grow the Online Vendor Direct Fulfilment (online assortment, endless aisle, drop ship, marketplace) across CTC'S multiple banners
  • CTR, SportChek, Mark's, L'Equipeur and Atmosphere
  • Define online assortment strategy for CTC, coordinate and execute on roadmaps with our Merchandising partners, optimize online assortment operations to meet CTC key KPIs
  • Oversee the execution of our Online Assortment playbook and collaborate with other cross functional teams
  • Own strategic growth decisions for the business and accountable to deliver on aggressive growth plans
  • Leverage customer insights, analytics, research, and reporting functions to support decision making, analyzing results, and provide new opportunities for growth
  • Market and onboard new vendors to increase the platforms product offering and grow sales
  • Source new partnerships that promote the development of the online assortment platform
  • Identify, lead, and expand revenue generating opportunities and deliver enhanced customer and vendor experiences
  • Own the relationship with 2P technology provider Commerce Hub (CHUB) and support SPS. Leverage the platform and develop the relationship for future growth
  • Understand 2P/3P technology providers and provide strategic direction on potential integration into each CTC banner strategy
  • Guide customer service and order support management for 2P orders
  • Monitor, track and lead the reporting of metrics related to the performance by banner
  • Manage target setting in coordination with other functional teams and own the OA P&L
  • Lead and develop a highperforming team to drive expansion, sales and KPIs. Support their career development through 1:1 training, mentoring and personal development plans

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a multi milliondollar budget
  • Experience with financial measures and how to impact them; experience managing P&Ls and forecasting considered an asset
  • Ability to mobilize and inspire your direct and indirect team
  • Marketplace experience welcomed, an experienced marketplace operator. Understand the dynamic of a 2P/3P model and the benefits of one versus the other. Experience accelerating a 2P or 3P model
  • Highly datadriven with an awareness of technology providers (CHUB, SPS and Mirakl)
  • Experience recruiting, managing and leading highperforming talent to achieve organizational goals
  • Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • 10+ years of experience in retail and/or ecommerce landscape
