Students enrolled or willing to enroll in a PhD program at Simon Fraser University (proof will be required before the start date) with specialization in Engineering Geology or other relevant specialization.

Degree equivalency

In the context of student recruitment in the federal public service, experience can be acquired through studies, work experience or volunteer activities:

  • Experience in field and desktop-based terrain mapping.
  • Experience in landslide identification and hazard assessment.
  • Experience with geographic information systems.
  • Experience preparing scientific reports.
