Marketing Projects Partner
The Marketing Projects Partner has a foundational role within the Enterprise Marketing Team.

Not only are they a key driver in facilitating integration across divisions, but also for the planning, delivery, and operationalization of several marketing projects at enterprise and divisional levels.

These projects range in nature, relating to marketing technology, brand positioning and activation, marketing strategy, and marketing performance reporting.

  • Projects are delivered according to schedule, budget, scope, and expectation
  • Stakeholder requirements are well captured
  • Foundational understanding is realized in terms of client divisions and priorities
  • Project documentation is effectively created, stored, maintained, and handedoff to the end client
  • Impromptu business needs are well supported

What will you do?

Marketing Project Planning

  • Managing stakeholder discovery and needs / expectations assessment processes.
  • Leading requirements gathering and prioritization.
  • Working with stakeholders and project sponsors to develop project plans, including marketing project objectives, scope, timeline, budget, and deliverables.
  • Identifying marketing project resourcing requirements in terms of people (teams and vendors), materials, and equipment.
  • Establishing change management and stakeholder communication plans.
  • Formulating crossfunctional teams and marketing project governance structures.
  • Facilitating risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning.
  • Establishing a formal project documents repository.
  • Contributing towards the structuring of vendor agreements.

Marketing Project Management and Delivery

  • Managing project resources and priorities throughout the marketing project lifecycle.
  • Formalizing changes to requirements, scopes, timelines, and budgets.
  • Leading implementation of change management communications and opportunities for engagement with stakeholders.
  • Reporting ongoing on marketing project status, progress, emerging risks, and key decision points.
  • Managing vendor relationships.

Marketing Project Hand-Off / Operationalization / Closure

  • Documenting processes and procedures necessary for operationalization.
  • Training staff on new processes and procedures.
  • Decommissioning legacy elements (documents, processes, technology, etc.) working with the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Transferring document repositories to operational leads.
  • Facilitating lessons learned assessments for marketing projects.

Service Innovation

  • Researching, designing, and engaging in experimentation to introduce new marketing services, maximize impact and/or drive efficiency.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What do we look for?

  • Certificate or bachelor's degree in a related field, with significant course work exposure to marketing, project management, and / or other areas relevant to the position.
  • PMP, PMI Agile Certification, and / or Change Management certification preferred but not required.
  • At least 4 years' experience managing projects across departments and a large breadth of stakeholders.
  • Experience managing the project lifecycle, from plan development through to postimplementation and closure, keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Functional ability and experience leading processes mapping activities.
  • Experience delivering projects similar in complexity and magnitude as those seen in the role.
  • Experience working with project management and reporting software.
