In this role, you'll be the go-to person responsible for coordinating and managing the scheduling and logistics operations for our insulation projects.

Your mission will be to ensure smooth coordination of resources, timely project scheduling, and hassle-free project execution in partnership with our valued customers and clients.

What will your responsibilities be?

Project Scheduling:

  • Maintain a comprehensive schedule for insulation projects, including timelines and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with customers, project managers, and internal teams to gather project requirements and align schedules.
  • Keep a close eye on project progress, ensuring that everything stays on track and meets project deadlines.
  • Handle any scheduling conflicts and propose alternative solutions to minimize disruptions.

Resource Allocation:

  • Work closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure resources are allocated effectively.
  • Assess the availability and skill sets of the field installers, taking project requirements and priorities into consideration.
  • Collaborate with team members to schedule and assign construction tasks, ensuring a balanced workload.
  • Optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity while keeping costs in check.

Communication and Documentation:

  • Be the primary point of contact for customers regarding insulation project scheduling and logistics.
  • Keep customers and internal stakeholders informed of project schedules, changes, and updates in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Prepare and distribute necessary documentation, such as work orders and construction schedules
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and databases related to scheduling and logistics activities.

Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:

  • Proactively identify potential scheduling and logístical issues and come up with contingency plans.
  • Troubleshoot problems and swiftly resolve any conflicts or delays that may arise during construction projects.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address operational challenges and find practical solutions.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance scheduling and logistics efficiency for insulation projects.

What qualifications are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in project scheduling, logistics coordination, or a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Programs, specifically Office, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and project managers
  • Basic knowledge of construction principles, materials, and industry practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and deadlinedriven environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.

  • Clean criminal record & child abuse registry check to be provided upon hiring.
  • Reliable transportation to and from our Stellarton office is required.

Salary:
$16.00-$20.00 per hour
