Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Yard Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse yard. The Yard Supervisor will be responsible for managing the flow of materials, coordinating with the warehouse team, and ensuring efficient and safe operations. Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the activities of yard personnel - Oversee the loading and unloading of materials using forklifts and other heavy equipment - Ensure accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement team for replenishment - Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment - Train new employees on proper equipment operation and safety procedures - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area - Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve any issues that arise Requirements: - Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role - Strong mechanical knowledge, including experience with heavy equipment operation - Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage shipments - Valid forklift certification is required - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed - Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes - Experience operating clamp trucks is a plus As a Yard Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse yard. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
