Our client, a manufacturer of furniture in _ North York, ON _ is hiring for experienced Upholsterers to join their day shift team.

Working Hours : 7am - 4:30pm Monday-Friday

Requirements:

1-2 years experience working as an Upholster
Previous hand tool experience
Ability to stand for long periods of times
Ability to lift up to 20-30 pounds at times

Job Description:
Understanding design orders and creating upholstery stencils.
Taking apart furniture framing for upholstery preparation.
Measuring and cutting fabric according to stencils/ work orders.
Installing foam to the furniture framework.
Stretching out and installing fabric or leather coverings.
Stitching, gluing, and nailing materials
Smoothing out imperfections.
Conducting quality checks on completed orders.
Production rework assembly
Handle medium-to-heavy materials intermittently

Job Type:
Full-time

Pay:
$17.50-$18.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:
French not required

Schedule:
8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
