Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Upholsterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Replace damaged webbing, springs, and various components of furniture.
  • Design, cut, and install upholstery materials.
  • Attach decorative elements such as trim, braids, or buttons using appropriate methods.
  • Repair and restore furniture frames and wooden surfaces.
  • Utilize sewing machines or hand-sewing techniques as required.
  • Finish the underside and back of seats with interwoven materials.
Experience and Expertise

Industry Background: Experience in furniture upholstery and repair settings.

Specialization: Focus on seating for venues such as stadiums and halls, as well as general furniture upholstery.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Strong manual dexterity.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to differentiate colors accurately.
  • Comfortable with a mix of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Capable of working independently.
Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
