Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Upholsterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities- Replace damaged webbing, springs, and various components of furniture.
- Cut, fabricate, and install upholstery materials with precision.
- Apply ornamental trims, braids, or buttons using tacks, glue, or sewing techniques.
- Repair and restore furniture frames and refinish wooden surfaces.
- Utilize sewing machines or hand-sewing methods as required.
- Enhance the aesthetics of seats with interwoven rattan on the bottom and back.
Industry Experience: Background in furniture upholstery and repair services.
Specialization: Experience with seating for venues such as stadiums and halls, as well as general furniture upholstery.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to differentiate between various colors.
- Comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Capable of working independently and efficiently.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
Workplace Information- On-site position.
- Compensation: $28.50 per hour, with a work schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Permanent full-time employment.
