Job Description:

Must have:

  • Experience in ophthalmic pretesting, including visual acuity, IOP & pachymetry.
  • Experience performing visual field testing & OCT.
  • Responsibilities will vary from checkingin and scheduling patients, to pretesting and posttesting patients (including historytaking).
  • Preparing patients for examination rooms and manage the flow of patients
  • Duties also include sterilization & maintenance of ophthalmic equipment.
  • Keen to assist with minor office medical procedures & assist with tasks necessary for daytoday clinic operation.
  • Excellent interpersonal & telephone skills
  • Organized, neat, professional & punctual
  • Good at multitasking & ability to work in fastpaced environment
  • Team player but also able to work independently
  • Proficient with computers or previous experience with EMR's (Accuro)
  • Other medical office skills beneficial
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada with required work visas in place
  • Must be able to work and travel between Vancouver and Richmond clinic
  • Must be competent in English.
  • Other languages such as Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese and Tagalog is an asset.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
