Job Summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Visual Field Technician to join the Visual Field Laboratory at Vancouver General Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform colour vision and visual field testing of patients using automated and manual techniques.
  • Conduct diagnostic ophthalmic tests and assessment procedures as part of the Eye Care Centre team.
  • Provide test and treatment information for interpretation by medical staff.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a recognized program in ophthalmic technology or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and deal with others in a professional manner.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Ability to organize work and operate related equipment.
