Applications are invited for the regular part-time position of two (2) Enrolment Services Associates in the Enrolment Services Division. The starting salary is $24.39 /hr for a 24 hour work week. Additional hours may be required at peak times during the year such as start or end of term. These positions are located at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus, but travel to the Welland Campus may be required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists students and general public with inquiries regarding OSAP, financial aid, admissions, accounts, registration, schedules, progression, graduation, programs and courses, and other Enrolment Services procedures
  • Assists students to navigate online selfservice tools (MyNC, NICOLE, OCAS, OSAP, bursaries/scholarships, CE Shopping Cart, etc)
  • Assists with events such as convocation preparation and ceremonies, orientation activities, student service fairs
  • Handles student complaints and concerns
  • Receives and processes documentation pertaining to registration, course and program changes, withdrawals, refunds and loan distribution
  • Verifies and updates student records
  • Creates student/applicant files
  • Facilitates requests for Confirmations of Enrolment, Transcript Requests, CPP Forms, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Two (2) year diploma in Office Administration, Business or a similar field of study
  • Three (3) years of experience working in a highvolume customer service environment using a pointofsale system, an information system, preferably within an educational environment.
  • Demonstrated communication, organizational, problem solving and prioritizing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experience with computerized systems such as PeopleSoft are definite assets
