Brock Group is a diversified consulting company located in Pickering Ontario.

We are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team based out of Pickering Ontario. Our Administrative Assistant provide all the administrative tasks needed to support our consultants.

This role involves a high level of administrative support, scheduling, coordinating, and multitasking, to support management.

The successful Administrative Assistant will participate is a variety of Administrative Tasks.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform a variety of administrative duties in support of Managment;
  • Schedule and coordinate material deliveries;
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Fill out forms, gather documents
proof read information, and correspond with clients on required information;

  • Prepare, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices, presentations, brochures, publications, reports and related materials as required;
  • Manage reports in a timely manner and input data into systems;
  • Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages as required;
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings as required;
  • Organize conferences and prepare meeting minutes;
  • Document and log staff/safety meeting minutes;
  • Arrange travel schedules and make reservations as needed;
  • Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and coordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations;
  • Greet and direct visitors to appropriate person(s);
  • Post regular updates on website;
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory;

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant (required);
  • A University or College degree in Human Resources, Administration or related field is preferred but not required;
  • Ability to interact with people effectively and in a professional manner;
  • Technical administrative experience is an asset;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
  • Must be proficient with computers, especially Microsoft Office Suite (required);

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 25-40 per week

Salary:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Pickering, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
