The Opportunity:


You will be part of the risk assessment team which is part of the dynamic multi-disciplinary Environmental Management team in BC and Yukon, that supports our diverse clients with their investigation, remediation and risk assessment needs.

You will be joining one of the largest risk assessment and toxicologist teams in the BC and Yukon region.

Our team has over 20 staff that practice in a range of areas including, but not limited to:
human and ecological risk assessment, environmental impact assessments, aquatic effects assessments, specialty toxicology service and environmental monitoring.

You will have opportunities to provide input on a wide range of projects that would benefit from your risk assessment, toxicology, biology, or related expertise.

A day in the life:

You will...

  • Participate in field programs in terrestrial and freshwater aquatic settings (i.e., environmental monitoring, fish and fish habitat assessments, fish or amphibian salvage, water quality, benthic invertebrates, sediment, soil, groundwater, terrestrial vegetation and invertebrates);
  • Be responsible for planning for logistics and equipment;
  • Act as a crew member or crew lead for simple to complex field programs;
  • Quality control of field data collections and data entry;
  • Assist with and follow safety requirements during field operations;
  • Assist with officebased background research and report preparation; and
  • Perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions and at various times of the day.
