Warehouse Assistant

Steamworks Brewery is currently hiring a Warehouse Assistant for our Brewery's warehouse located down the street from our Burnaby Brewery.

A strong work ethic, ability to multitask and stay focused, capability of working individually as well as with a team, as well as a love for Steamworks beer is required.

This is a full-time position, shifts will be anytime between 7am-10pm. Someone with a flexible schedule will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with scheduling, coordinating, and prioritizing deliveries with various warehouses and vendors
  • Assist with brewery production on the bottling, canning & copacking lines
  • Receive and Process Orders in ERP system (Orchestrated Beer)
  • Distribute and maintain inventories of materials/supplies daily
  • Adhere to company policies and safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean working environment
  • Drive Delivery Truck for transfers when needed
  • Assist in facility maintenance as required
  • Various warehouse tasks

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 80lbs
  • Class 5 Drivers License
  • Previous forklift experience (an asset)
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude & eagerness to learn
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Computer Savvy
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
