Position: Slotting Coordinator

Type: Warehouse

Salary: $18-20 per hour

Job Overview:

The Slotting Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing inventory and optimizing product placement within the warehouse. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring accurate inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee item inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Enhance product selection flow for improved efficiency.
  • Implement ergonomic slotting practices for product placement.
  • Analyze data to identify and rectify slotting inefficiencies.
  • Facilitate communication between various departments to streamline operations.
  • Conduct inspections to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Establish slotting configurations for new products.
  • Address and resolve slotting challenges in a timely manner.
  • Maintain efficiency in pick slot arrangements.
  • Perform general housekeeping tasks to uphold a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in warehouse order selection is preferred.
  • Certification in operating pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in computer skills.
  • 1-2 years of relevant warehouse experience is advantageous.
