Overseeing a $6 million operation, this establishment has cemented its reputation as a premier dining destination in the city.

They are currently seeking an Executive Chef who will lead the culinary team and continue to elevate their seafood-centric menu.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the culinary operations of the restaurant, overseeing menu development, kitchen staff management, and kitchen operations.
  • Create innovative seafood dishes that align with the restaurant's commitment to culinary excellence and sustainability.
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, creativity, and respect.
  • Manage the kitchen budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source highquality, sustainable seafood and other ingredients.
  • Represent the restaurant professionally in all interactions with guests, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Continuously strive to enhance guest satisfaction through exceptional food and service.
  • Monitor food trends and customer feedback to keep the menu fresh and appealing.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant's management team to align the kitchen's objectives with the overall goals of the restaurant.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive culinary experience, ideally as an Executive Chef in a highvolume, upscale restaurant.
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating innovative seafood dishes.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional culinary certification.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of fostering a positive and productive kitchen environment.
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills, with the ability to manage kitchenrelated challenges effectively.
  • Financial acumen, including experience in managing kitchen budgets and cost control.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to represent the restaurant professionally to guests, staff, and stakeholders.
