Footprints Security is seeking an experienced and energetic administrative professional to join our Head Office team for Security Operations Admin Support with security knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete a variety of complex and detailoriented administrative tasks in support of the south Island operation
  • External alarm responses
  • Scheduling support
  • Car inventory
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute various reports both internally and externally
  • Maintain accurate and organized company file systems and operational equipment and uniform inventories
  • Manage multiple simultaneous and competing priorities effectively and efficiently, within mínimal supervision
  • Complete data entry of confidential information in a timely and accurate manner
  • Followup with and act as a liaison with various individuals, both internally and externally, at all levels of the organization with the highest level of customer service
  • Organizing and maintaining a filing system; managing purging documents
  • Assistance with the onboarding process for field employees using an Applicant Tracking system (ATS)
  • Provide support and coverage to other roles within in the organization:\
  • Perform dispatch duties; extensive time spent on the phone, scheduling employees, taking shortnotice service requests, responding to questions, and initiating appropriate responses to requests.
  • Be knowledgeable of the service intake process and distributing information to the operational team
  • Reception duties including answering phone and greeting individuals to the office
  • Perform in an accountable work environment
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements
-
Must have 5 years of Vancouver island security experience:

  • BC Security license
  • University degree preferred; will consider combination of other education and experience
  • Intermediate computer skills assumed, including Intermediate Microsoft skills
  • Scheduling knowledge
  • Security industry knowledge
  • Valid Class 5 or 7 BC Drivers License
  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to jump in and assist
  • Ability to be productive and efficient with limited supervision
  • Eagerness and ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to work with precision and accuracy while demonstrating attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in an office environment with fluctuating volumes and demands
  • Ability to mitigate problems and find creative solutions
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask while prioritizing work
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
