Duties:

  • Conduct literature review and summarize information under different formats.
  • Conduct field and lab research with focus on nitrogen sources, plant growth, spatial and economic analysis.
  • Collect and maintain primary and secondary data.
  • Perform statistical analyses of data, present and discuss results.

Education:

Currently enrolled or will be enrolled by the date of appointment in a Master's or PhD program in a recognized post-secondary institution with one of the following specialization:
Soil Science, Geographic information System (GIS), Economics Plant science, Environmental Science or related disciplines.

Degree equivalency

Experience*:
Experience* in Geographic Information System (GIS)
- spatial analysis, soil or plant related field or field work.

  • In the context of student recruitment in the Federal Public Service, the experience can be acquired through the studies, work experience, or volunteer activities.

Knowledge of Geographic Information System (GIS) and precision agriculture.
Knowledge of plant and soil science.
