Responsibilities as an MOA:

  • Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records
  • Greet patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
  • Assist with billing claims processing
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers
  • Manage referrals we recieve in the clinic

Office Manager Role:

  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and order as needed
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new staff members
  • Provide support to physicians and other medical staff as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred but not required. We are looking for someone who is interested in taking initiative, recognizing what needs doing, able to work independently, and wants to be part of a team
  • Able to recognize when to ask for help, and advocates for more support if needed
  • Proven experience in a medical office setting or similar administrative role

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures
  • Proficient in using ACCURO EMR (this is mandatory)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and external contacts
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work

Job Types:

$25.00-$30.00 per hour
