Our Opportunity:


The Regional Training Lead is responsible for providing training to Restaurant Teams and Owners on operations matters including profitability, Guest service, products, equipment, standards and management practices.

The RTL is an expert on all Tim Hortons Restaurant Operations topics both at the 4-wall, tactical level and the strategic, enterprise level.

This anticipated regional scope of this position is: Ontario

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, organize and deliver all aspects of largescale training sessions to Restaurant teams
  • Deliver targeted inrestaurant training to small groups on tactical operations procedures and best practices
  • Develop training materials, including trainee and instructor guides, job aids, assessments and support tools
  • Create and deliver reporting on KPI progress including training completion and satisfaction
  • Analyze data (SOS, Guest Feedback, REV, profitability) to assess effectiveness of training and adjust strategy accordingly
  • Develop and manage relationships with Restaurant teams and owners
  • Work independently to manage schedule to meet KPIs

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of Restaurant and Franchisee operations experience
  • Minimum 1month management of Tim Hortons Restaurant experience (training provided upon hire)
  • Proficient in all Microsoft excel tools (excel, ppt, word)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Strong written and oral communication and ability to translate technical and or complicated materials into effective training materials
  • Time management skills and ability to schedule, organize and execute on all logistics of event management
  • Expert operations knowledge on all:
  • In-restaurant operational procedures
  • Inventory management, production, Guest service, equipment, P&L management (F&P, labour, opex), management routines, Team training
  • Enterprise strategy:
  • District manager routines, recruitment and retention
  • Metrics and reporting tools
  • Tableau dashboards, SOS, SMG, OnBrand 360
