Job Description

*Candidates must reside in the GTA area to be considered for this role as they will be required to be in office 3 days a week at the Toronto Corporate Office.

GENERAL FUNCTION

Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for the full cycle requirements gathering, planning, delivery and reporting on key projects impacting cross functional areas of the business. The successful candidate in this application will be one who demonstrates a highly collaborative and proactive approach to project management and the ability to pull teams together from different areas of the business in order to collaboratively deliver on high priority enterprise wide projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Lead and Manage enterprise wide projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope and budget
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives and deliverables, aligning with organizational goals
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and compliance with All financial regulations
  • Support the growth and development of the ePMO through the implementation of a Project Management framework
  • Monitor and report on project progress providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management
  • Utilize project analytics to make informed decisions. Optimize resource allocation and enhance project efficiency
  • Foster effective communication channels among team members and stakeholders, facilitating a smooth exchange of project-related information
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and post-implementation reports
  • Identify and resolve project issues, bottlenecks, and conflicts to maintain project momentum and quality
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, inspiring and motivating the project team to achieve exceptional results
Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology or a related field
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in the full cycle planning and delivery of highly complexed enterprise wide projects
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the finance industry, with a successful track record of delivering complex projects

SKILLS

  • Impeccable communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate complex concepts simply and clearly
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized and possessing strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capability to guide and motivate a team.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
