About this opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of the Project Management Office, your role involves spearheading strategic projects spanning business segments. In collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders, you will lead cross-function teams to successful delivery. Supported by a PMO, you will leverage defined governance to manage your projects effectively throughout the project lifecycle. Effective stakeholder management as well as strong written and oral communication skills are key in this role.

Take an inside look at what you'll do each day

  • Create and maintain robust project documentation across project phases.
  • Engage in project estimation activities, involving all relevant teams to ensure accurate cost, effort and capacity assessments are conducted.
  • Embed change management components into plans as required to ensure successful readiness and subsequent solution adoption.
  • Track project progress, monitoring schedule, budget and scope while closely managing risks and issues as they arise.
  • Establish and leverage meaningful governance models, providing timely status updates for awareness, escalation or decision making as needed.
  • Conduct successful project closure, completing lessons learned and ensuring a sound transition to operations once a project is complete
  • Actively participate in and support improvements to mature the PMO practice across processes, tools and templates.
  • Champion project and change management in the wider CBI Health community, providing mentorship and awareness as required
  • Provide effective leadership on projects and build a project team culture that reflect CBI Health values and the PMO cultures
  • Participate as an effective and contributing member of the PMO team, supporting other PMO team members to deliver on the PMO mandate and CBI Health strategies; mentor junior PMO members.

What you need to be successful

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Project Manager
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering enterprise, transformational projects
  • PMP certification, PRINCE 2, or equivalent, considered an asset;
  • Delivery focused, resourceful and strong analytical skills;
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to flex style to work well with all stakeholders
