Due to a high volume of exposure to retail crime, this position is demanding yet the experience is rewarding should your career interests be within the justice field.


Description:

  • The detection, apprehension, detention and processing of shoplifters
  • Surveillance of employees under investigation
  • Report composition
  • Court appearance/testimony
  • Travel to a large number of retail stores within Edmonton

Qualifications:

  • Post secondary with a focus on Criminal Justice is an asset
  • Loss prevention license through the Alberta Solicitor General is an asset
  • Honesty and integrity
  • Excellent Observational skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good organizational skills
  • Solid work ethic
  • Ability to deal with high stressful situations

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary:
$17.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
