As a Logistics Analyst, you will support Emergency Management & Community Safety (EMCS) to ensure that the work area's complex fleet, facilities, and equipment needs are met. You will be responsible for fleet asset coordination and planning, facility asset coordination and equipment coordination and planning. Primary duties include:

Gather fleet requirements and communicate needs to support vehicle procurement and deployment. Conduct ongoing assessment and analysis of EMCS facility needs, requirements and forecasts. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on fleet and facility procedures. Act as the primary point of contact for support coordination and approval of any building maintenance or upgrades. Maintain an accurate inventory of fleet vehicles, primary reporting location and financial data on units in service. Coordinate monthly fleet inspections and unplanned vehicle maintenance and repairs, equipment installation in vehicles, and administer the fueling program. Support facilities work orders, manage space planning requests. Gather equipment requirements and communicate these needs to support procurement and deployment of non-technology equipment. Work with Corporate Stores and Clothing to ensure staff receive their annual clothing allotments, training clothing and equipment; manage, obtain, and distribute regalia items. Assess, maintain, and manage lists of Personal Protective Equipment, safety supplies and tools. Analyze and assess existing equipment lifecycle requirements and forecasted equipment needs. Support procurement strategies and act as point of contact for the creation of Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), and Request for Anything (RFX). Acts as a subject matter expert on projects with procurement/supply components. Maintain records of EMCS contracts, purchase orders, including monitoring spend rate and contract expiration dates. Qualifications A completed 1 year certificate in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Business Management, Project Management, Supply Chain Management or similar, and at least 3 years of related experience. Experience working with operational teams in the delivery of products, projects, or resources required to meet operational demands is required. Experience and understanding of the following areas: fleet, facilities, and/or equipment management is required. Knowledge and/or experience in business analysis, project management, supply management, public safety and emergency services operations will be considered an asset. Experience with Peoplesoft FSCM, SAP Ariba Contract Management System, BMC Remedy ITSM will be an asset. Incident Command System (ICS) 100 (or higher) training will also be considered an asset. Strong communication and customer service skills, the ability to provide personalized and proactive communications and the ability to communicate complex issues to diverse audiences.
