What you'll be doing


Reporting to the Director, Production Issues Support, this individual contributor role will be a part of the Personal Deposits' Regulatory Programs & Production Issues Support team.

As a member of the Production Issues Support team, you'll be responsible for executing end to end production support activities, which includes, but is not limited to, requirements development, client remediation, communication, regulatory impact assessment and supporting the implementation of regulatory requirements.

How you'll succeed

Production Support:

  • Work with partners to resolve production issues with urgency and on purpose. This includes conducting data analysis, develop remediation plan, execute and oversee remediation and validation activities, develop client communication and control enhancements. The incumbent will also be responsible to prepare senior management material and present proposals as required.
  • Develop and execute strategy on process and policy improvements to prevent production issue reoccurrence.
  • Review business requirements and process flows to detect potential future production issues.
  • Oversee business acceptance testing and post implementation validation plans.
  • Conduct and monitor business acceptance testing and post implementation validation for technology releases as required.

Communication:

  • Create, design, develop and execute.
  • Client communications for remediation.
  • Internal/partner communication to frontline teams.
  • External communication to regulators and other partners

Annual activities:

  • Effectively manage and prioritize annual activities for personal deposit products:


TFSA/RRSP reject resolution-
  • Support technology annual tax calendar releases SCM Disaster Recovery-
  • System Outage Approvals-
  • Quarterly Attestations-
  • Help with Internal and External AuditsProcess Ownership:
  • Responsible for the inventory and maintenance of procedures including records management oversight of records owned by Production Support and Regulatory Programs.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance process and client experience. Participate in the development of recommendations and execution strategy to assist in senior management decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain a superior knowledge of Personal Deposit product technology platforms and processes across the production support team.
  • Expert understanding of Personal Deposit Product related regulations and compliance processes


Relationship Management- Manage the relationship between the Product Management team all various partners throughout the bank for all facets of the product relationship- Build internal and external relationships as required to help ensure we are providing the right level of guidance to our business partners.

Represent Personal Deposit products interests as required in the delivery of strategies or tactics through projects or bank-wide initiatives.

Compliance requirements and responsibilities:

Cross-functional Relationship: Leaders and teams within business controls, the compliance functional group, legal, technology, retail account services, retail payment services, sales channels and client care.

Leaders and teams within other internal governance functions, including Risk Management, Finance, Human Resources, Privacy and Industry regulators.


Who you are- You can demonstrate experience in product management, strategic planning, communications and project/process management sufficient to identify, develop, and implement approved initiatives (experience preferably in financial services).

You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent communication and presentation skills sufficient to prepare and present material to an executive audience.
