About the Opportunity

  • Lead IFRS monthend closing processes and ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statement
  • Accounting for capital assets under IFRS
  • IAS 1
  • Prepare necessary journal entries, reconciliations and financial reports for monthend related to key GL accounts which includes Capital assets and inventory
  • Lead the external audit process, including liaising with our external auditors.
  • Execute timely compliance reporting, board reporting and audited financial statement issuance.
  • Preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, including analysis of performance, variance and YTD results
  • Maintain the fixed asset register.
About You

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, a CPA or CA, strongly preferred.
  • IFRS reporting experience, specifically IAS 1
  • Experience accounting for Fixed asset
  • 5 years of experience working in complex and fastpaced environments
  • Prior experience working in a similar role
  • Experience with large ERP and Advanced Excel skills
