The Job

We are excited to work alongside our industry-leading client in their search for an HR Coordinator. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will be handling a variety of tasks, including:

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Being the main point of contact for all employee HR related inquiries (salaries, benefits, vacations, etc.)
  • Entering employee information into Dayforce.
  • Reviewing resumes for different departments.
  • Coordinating pre-employment testing and onboarding activities.
  • Managing employee files.
  • Completing additional HR and administrative tasks as assigned by the HR Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have a Post-secondary Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
  • Previous experience with Dayforce is highly beneficial.
  • Experience working in a unionized setting is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, with a willingness to learn and tackle challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Dependable with a positive and friendly demeanor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Great analytical and problems-solving skills.
  • Must have reliable personal transportation as the location is an hour southeast of Calgary.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly pay rate will be determined by experience.
