About the Role:


The Earner and Vehicle Operations team at Uber Canada helps to grow our earner base, optimize the earner experience, and launch new products and features to improve our business.

We are creative and passionate problem solvers working to make Uber the best choice for flexible work in Canada.


This new role will focus on supporting our operations team across a variety of functions including analytical deep dives, consumer research, insight generation, and identifying and solving earner pain points across their entire lifecycle.

We're looking for someone with the curiosity to dive deep on critical business issues, and the foresight to understand how our decisions today will impact our business tomorrow.

This role will work closely with cross-functional counterparts (i.e. Central Ops, comm ops, legal, support and other counterparts) to create the best experience for earners.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct analyses and deliver strategic recommendations to senior management to drive business decisions
  • Support the team in managing day to day operations including vehicle rentals and Uber Pro loyalty programs
  • Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes for a variety of different audiences
  • Solve earner pain points as it comes to the experience of signing up and earning with Uber
  • Generate and codify earner insights via roundtables, surveys, and 1 v 1 discussions

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 12 years of experience
  • Great teamwork and communication skills
  • Some experience working with data via previous work or academic experience
  • Ability to thrive with ambiguity and a high capacity to learn
  • Comfortable working directly with drivers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Excel and Google Sheets
  • Experience writing SQL or other coding languages
  • Operations or startup experience
  • Proficiency in additional languages a plus
