WHAT IS THE ROLE?


As a result of growth, expansion, and increased construction activity across the Canada, we are actively seeking an experienced
Business Development Managerwith strong rental/sales experience in the construction industry to join our West Coast team.

At Preston Rentals, we have positioned ourselves to rapidly increase the number of our assets to meet the high demand of confirmed projects we have been awarded in Canada, and in turn, require expansion within our successful sales team.


This role will see you approaching the buoyant
British Columbia market with a solutions-based sales approach, focusing, on and targeting the Construction, Utilities, Engineering, and Industrial sectors in order to meet your product category-specific targets.

The role will return a highly competitive salary package and an incentive & bonus scheme which will be uncapped, opening great earning potential.


TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST POSSESS

  • Existing relationships within vertical construction.
  • Previous experience working within the construction industry, construction equipment, cranes, and hoists is preferred.
years of project supervisor experience or similar

  • Ability to maintain and manage customer relationships including but not limited to major construction companies
  • Excellent time management with sound administrative skills.
  • A winatallcosts attitude, supported by the best product in the industry.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time

You will have a strong focus on business development and building relationships with key decision makers and influencers, furthermore, you will act as the first point of contact for any client needs and ensure that their requirements are being met and always looking to go "above and beyond".

You will possess a strong technical sales background along with a proven track record of achievement.

You will possess strong presentation and communications skills and have the ability and confidence to present to all levels of management.

Being a true business development professional, you will have the ability to identify new opportunities and build strong strategic relationships and work towards realistic set targets.
