Duties:


Delivers access to information and privacy (ATIP) program services which provide public access to departmental records and protect personal information held by the Department and manages program related projects.

Specializes in handling complex, contentious and sensitive requests for information involving third party business information, difficult, controversial or political issues.


Intent of the process:

The immediate intent of this poster will be to fill three (3) indeterminate positions.

Applicants should be aware that this selection process may be used to staff similar positions with various linguistic requirements, various security requirements, various conditions of employment and/or various tenures (Indeterminate, Specified Period, Deployment, Acting, Assignment, Secondment) within Health Canada in the National Capital Region.

  • Secondary School Diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Degree equivalency

Experience:

  • Experience using access to information or freedom of informationrelated software such as Electronic Document Information Management System (EDIMS), Laserfiche, Access Pro Case Management (APCM), Access Pro Redaction (APR), etc.

Asset Qualifications:

Education:

  • Degree or certification from a recognized postsecondary, college or university with a specialization in access to information and protection of privacy, public administration, law or another field relevant to the duties of the position.
Degree equivalency

Operational Requirements:
Able and willing to work overtime on short notice, if required.
