As a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist I, you will perform procedures in both the laboratory and in diagnostic imaging, typically in rural sites. Your responsibilities include preparing patients, venipuncture and micropuncture, routine equipment maintenance, maintaining supplies and performing quality control procedures as required.

Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-ray Technologists (ACCLXT).
Additional Required Qualifications:As a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist I at this site, you will perform site specific manual and automated laboratory procedures, following established standards and practice defined by the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT), College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) and Health Professions Act. Although the posting includes conducting X-Ray examinations and ECGs, they do not perform these at this time.A Medical Laboratory Technologist is also eligible to apply for this position with completion of a diploma from an accredited program in Medical Laboratory Technology. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA) is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Epic, WellSky, ACL Elite Pro, Sysmex XN-550, Vitros XT3400 would be beneficial to this position.
