Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Create new manufacturing hardware part numbers using mark number drawings provided by plants
Create new raw material inventory items
Working in partnership with procurement to ensure the correct pricing of items based on previous inventory reports and other purchasing trends
Update Steel pricing for Steel sector using mill pricing updates provided by steel sector operations
Simulate and freeze branches after inventory costs have been updated
Review concrete batching reports
Compare the data between concrete uploads and batching reports
Reviewing and ensuring that any discrepancies detected are documented and corrected appropriately
Periodically review manufacturing work orders to ensure that the proper material is consumed
Other tasks may be added when required

Technical Requirements

Minimum post-secondary education in the accounting field (community college diploma with a concentration in accounting, or equivalent)
Ability to read shop drawings considered a definite asset

Business Requirements

A high degree of accuracy with strong attention to detail is required
Ability to work under pressure of time constraints
knowledge of MS Excel is considered an asset
Exposure to JD Edwards One World is a definite asset

Cultural Requirements

Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) with management and peers
Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
