Position Overview

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to join our Media & Entertainment team (EMS) with a focus on driving the vision and plan for our industry cloud, Autodesk Flow. Autodesk Flow is built on Autodesk's Design and Make Platform and connects workflows, data, and teams across the entire production lifecycle from earliest concept to final delivery.

Reporting to the VP, Production Management & Platform, you will be involved in defining, designing, and building the next generation of solutions and services for film, tv, and game-based workflows. You'll help execute the product strategy and guide teams on how to maximize impact of those strategies by leveraging data and research. You will partner with multiple cross-functional teams to execute against our product strategy, ensuring we are prioritizing the workflows to deliver the most impact to our customers.

This role can be on-site, hybrid or remote anywhere in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

Work closely with leads across Development, Design and Architecture to ensure complete alignment between business goals and development work. Be able to collaborate and get help from counterparts at the right time. Be the connective tissue and glue between development teams, stakeholders, and customers Able to define most impactful customer outcomes, discover opportunities, and discover solutions Data-based decision-making including prioritization across multiple initiatives with competing priorities. Leverage customer insight, usability studies, research, and market analysis to shape product concepts and requirements Influence and manage multiple stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of key decisions and trade-offs Balance customer needs against short-term versus longer-term benefit Articulate and promote the direction of our platform by envisioning features and functions over time to be delivered Excellent presentation and storytelling skills to take a complex topic and make it digestible Run customer councils through strategic direction, speaking, and content curation Inherently collaborative nature and bias toward partnership Work with relevant marketing and GTM stakeholders to launch new product services and capabilities

Minimum Qualifications

At least 8-10 years of experience in a customer facing role and SaaS/cloud/platform product management experience.Enterprise level SaaS industry experience and experience launching a collaboration product desired Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field Have direct experience delivering 0-to-1 products. Operate in a rapid experimentation mode with customers Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and Agile methodologies Understanding of tactics and frameworks that support product discovery Demonstrated experience working in a matrix environment at scale

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $144,900 and $199,210. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
