Cloud Optimization Principal Product Manager

Our Cloud Optimization products and services help customers develop technical expertise with AWS and learn how to architect their cloud applications for security, reliability, performance, cost optimization, sustainability, and operational excellence.
This exciting role will lead the marketing team for Cloud Optimization, a small but mighty team comprised of product marketing, field marketing, and partner marketing specialists. You will set the strategy, coach and manage the team, and contribute hands-on to complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Coaching, developing, and managing three direct reports in product marketing, field marketing, and partner marketing
- Establishing the overall marketing direction for Cloud Optimization, including goals, strategies, and tactics throughout the entire adoption funnel
- Partnering closely with product teams, business development, and central marketing to drive positive outcomes for customers and the business
- Engaging with leaders across AWS Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) organization to create communication channels that can reach every single technical resource in SMGS and all customers that can benefit from our offerings

- 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience with creating GTM initiatives at scale
- Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product management, analytics, UX, and research

The base salary for this position ranges from $143,200/year up to $239,200/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
