This role will provide you with an opportunity to work on the Centre Block Rehabilitation project, one of the most exciting, complex and important construction projects ever undertaken in Canada.
The Centre Block project is the first time Canada's two foremost construction companies have pooled their expertise and experience to deliver a project.
Both PCL and EllisDon have proud histories in the construction of many of Canada's landmark projects.The Centre Block project is a crowning achievement for each company and will serve as a point of pride for many years to come, during construction and well after the project is complete.
We are currently seeking anAdministrative Assistant for a
6-month contract for the
Centre Block Rehabilitation Project.
Responsibilities:
- Coordination of project site tours for employees and guests
- Maintenance of project contact lists
- Meeting rooms organization and resolving multiple bookings
- Coordination and setup of catering requests
- Submission of subcontractors' agreements and revisions in a timely manner
- Distribution of vital information to internal and external personnel
- Coordination of periodic courier requests
- Developing and maintaining customerfocused relationships with all stakeholders.
- Ensuring appropriate document control and compliance through filing, composing, and editing documents and reports
- Support for project Executive Assistant as required
- Assisting IT colleague with administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Associate or bachelor's degree, diploma or certificate in office administration program considered an asset
- 13 years of experience in an administrative role or equivalent technical experience
- Must be proficient on the computer and have intermediate skills in MS software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (French language an asset)
- Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and energetic
- Able to collaborate with a diverse workforce and interact professionally with all levels of the organization
- Able to work with limited supervision in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and undertake new challenges
- Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fastpaced project office location
