Communicative Disorders Assistant

Speech Ally Inc is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Communicative Disorders assistant to join our team in the GTA mainly in Scarborough, NorthYork, and Markham.
The CDA must provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions to individuals within the GTA.Role:
- Provide client and familycentered care based on direction provided by our SLPs.
- Develop required treatment materials for intervention.
- Ability to understand the treatment objectives and to remain within the objectives as prescribed by the supervising SLP.
- CDA's are required to make their own schedule based on client convenience and should be able to drive to those locations including homes, daycares, offices, clinics, etc.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Communicative Disorders Assistant Program.
- Previous work experience is an added advantage.
- Member of CDAAC.
- Strong organizational, problemsolving, written, and oral communication skills are necessary.
- Valid Drivers License and vehicle required to attend client appointments.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 10 per week
Salary:
$50.00-$65.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
COVID-19 considerations:
- Both the client and the therapist require a screening tool before the session.
- Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Good handwashing and sanitizing are a must.
