The planner/scheduler position is responsible for assessing, monitoring and making recommendations to the Area Supervisor regarding the planning, scheduling and coordinating of labor, material and system resources for maintenance and operational activities.

This position requires a working knowledge of pipeline operation and maintenance activities and knowledge of the planning, scheduling, procurement and the integrated management systems.

In charge of maintenance/improvement plannification & execution of critical utilities equipment (turbines, air-compressor, chiller, etc.
Work order analysis
Integration of information in the maintenance software
Workshop m aintenance team capacity (total man hours needed)
Create a weekly maintenance schedule
Responsible of the weekly planning meeting with Operations/Production team
Updating the schedule according to planned and unplanned events (emergency, curative maintenance, ...)
Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts and schedule analysis on a periodic basis.
Prepare weekly schedules for weekly planning meeting with Operations and Maintenance.
Establish root cause and work to resolve any issues which could affect supply of parts and/or equipment performance.

Liaise with other maintenance personnel and production supervisors as is necessary to keep them informed on the progress of maintenance and repairs.

Liaise with Operations, and Engineering to develop and review planning documents.
Understand and respect the rules concerning safety, quality, hygiene and the environment.
Maintain confidentiality in all matters pertaining to the Roquette Pea processing plant and its operations.
Candidate will have aptitude for log istics, planning and scheduling
Candidates will have the aptitude to participate and pass planning c ertification courses.
Experience working with large data sets and sorting and reconciling data.
Proficient to use the Microsoft series of office software tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project ).
Good tech nical (mechanical, electrical, etc.

) knowledge of industrial equipment regarding "best practices" (vibration analysis , material , lubrication analysis , hydraulic s , alignment, ...)

an d "precision maintenance techniques "
Knowledge of troubleshooting / R oot C ause A nalysis training (continuous improvement)
Good understanding of regulatory requirements
Good aptitude for administration, documentation controls
Ability to balance the schedule between planned maintenance jobs and new jobs (give it the appropriate scheduling priority: Degree or Technical diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience working as a Planner/Scheduler in a manufacturing environment, preferably food industry.
Strong knowledge and experience of SAP and MS Project.
Good understanding of technical reporting and formatting.
Business Trip s (Percentage) : Up to 20% prior to plant startup
