Join Our Team as a Senior Financial Analyst at IPEX in Montreal
IPEX is a top provider of integrated thermoplastic piping systems in North America, dedicated to building a brighter future by connecting people with water and energy. We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic team player to fill the position of Senior Financial Analyst at our Montreal office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage the Financial Statement Close process on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Conduct in-depth analyses and simplify complex concepts for various stakeholders
- Oversee financial analyses and analytical reviews
- Supervise journal entries and analyses by junior analysts
- Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement of processes
- Prepare, review, and submit reporting packages to the parent company
- Update and revise internal financial statements
- Participate in budget planning and forecasting
- Assist in the annual inventory count
- Work on special projects such as ERP system implementation
- Collaborate with the finance team on transitioning to a new ERP system
Qualifications & Skills:
- CPA Designation
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Bilingual in French and English
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Prior experience with ERP and BI systems considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
