Senior Financial Analyst - HYPERION IS MUST 5 MONTHS CONTRACT


Join a dynamic team in a senior role as a Financial Analyst, supporting strategic decision-making and process improvement in a transformative project. Responsibilities include financial modeling, analysis, and budgeting, alongside administrative support and vendor management. Utilize strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, present insights to executive leadership, and ensure compliance with financial policies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is essential. Requires knowledge of accounting principles, financial planning, and reporting systems like Oracle ERP and Hyperion. A degree in Business or Finance, along with a CPA or similar designation, is preferred. Security clearance may be necessary

Responsibilities:


  1. Business case financial modeling: Support various projects and initiatives by developing financial models to monitor and manage costs effectively.
  2. Ad hoc financial analysis: Conduct analysis to support strategic decision-making and provide insights into divisional business activities.
  3. Administrative and technical support: Assist in various team activities, including organizing, coordinating, and leading initiatives, and preparing documentation and presentations.
  4. Process improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance existing processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiency.
  5. Budget preparation and consolidation: Assist in preparing corporate budget decks and consolidating information from the team.
  6. Vendor management: Collaborate with external vendors to ensure effective management and delivery of services.
  7. Communication and collaboration: Work closely with non-finance leaders and committees, providing subject matter expertise and presenting financial insights to the executive team.


Qualifications:

  1. Financial expertise: Significant experience in financial planning and analysis, understanding of accounting principles, and experience with general accounting procedures.
  2. Analytical skills: Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills, ability to perform high-quality work under tight timelines, and proficiency in financial investigations.
  3. Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with financial planning and reporting systems like Oracle ERP and Hyperion.
  4. Communication skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work with all levels of staff, and comfort with complexity and ambiguity.
  5. Education and certification: University degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline, and a CPA or similar accounting designation or working towards it.
  6. Security clearance: May require security clearance for the position.
