We're looking for a sharp and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our top-notch Social department. At our agency, a Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for supporting strategic direction, execution, and reporting on campaign success. You will be contributing to a variety of brands and campaigns, working with household brand names and collaborating with the rest of our internal team to develop out-of the box social strategies and eye-catching content. This is an exciting position at a fast-moving agency that is focused on challenging industry norms and developing programs that are best in class.
We're based in Toronto and working in a hybrid model We're looking for someone who is located in or around the GTA with the ability to travel to our West End location for in-office team days.

ABILITIES AND SKILLS
- Has at least 1+ years of experience managing and creating content for social media accounts on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Experience with creating and writing content for social media for a B2C or B2B company
- Has experience with Sprout Social or similar social media management platform
- Has experience with Mailchimp or similar email management platforms
- Has experience with Google Suite
- Superior written and verbal communication
- Works well with others
EXPERIENCE
- 1+ years of experience working in social media, marketing, or a related field
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field of study
- Looking for an individual with a passion and skill for digital marketing & social media

New Client Setups
- Support the management of social media accounts
- Setup accounts within our software systems
- Ensure consistent artwork across branded profiles
- Support the development and design of brand materials as needed (or work with an internal designer)
Internal Management
- Work cross-functionally with other team members to organize creative assets
- Support the development of brand themes and hashtags that can be reused as a common thread across client profiles
- Support the development of social media calendars and content production for clients
- Support the development of e-mail newsletters for clients
- Continuous social listening and monitoring of client accounts
Content Creation
- Work cross-functionally with our Creative team to support on branded content shoots (photo and /or video)
- Support the creation of short-form video content (Reels & TikTok) - on-camera and behind-the-scenes
- Content ideation for clients - evergreen and reactive content
Reporting & Client Management
- Develop standard monthly marketing reports
- Support the development of slide decks for monthly review meetings
- Propose and highlight strategic recommendations
- Graduate of College or University
- Proficient with social media platforms
- A keen eye for design, and familiarity with software design tools
- Ability to use/have familiarity with Hootsuite or similar scheduling platforms
- Ability to use/have familiarity with Mailchimp or similar newsletter platforms
- Excellent written/oral communication skills and email etiquette
- Excellent research and data assimilation

Progressive Compensation- This position will have a variable compensation based on the skills and experience of the successful candidate
