Polysomnographic Technician 1

Rotation/Shifts:

  • Days and nights, including weekends, 10 and 12 hour shifts.
  • For information purposes only
  • The Hospital reserves the right to change.

Basic Requirements:

  • Baccalaureate or Diploma from an accredited institution majoring in health sciences or a related discipline;
  • Successful completion of at least 6 weeks (240 hours) of polysomnographic training working as a polysomnographic trainee with documented proficiency at all competencies;
  • Knowledge of polysomnographic equipment and supplies;
  • Sound knowledge of human anatomy, neuroanatomy and physiology;
  • Eligible for Certification in CPR and/or First Aid;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Good problem solving skills.
