Your Opportunity
Ourâ ̄Kitchener-Waterloo office s are looking for a
Co-op Student or Intern â ̄to join the Assurance team from January to April 2024.
This role is designed to offer a comprehensive learning experience in the field of accounting, exposing the C o-op or I ntern to various aspects of financial reporting, analysis, compliance, and teamwork.
The Co-op or Intern will own the following responsibilities:- Efficiently utilize technical knowledge from courses to carry out work projects and assignmentsâ ̄
- Prepare and complete working papers, financial information, and compilation engagements per regulatory standards
- Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements
- Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
- Collaborate with and support the Financial Reporting & Insights team.

Your experience and education
- You are currently working towards a degree/diploma, focused in accounting with a longterm goal of becoming a CPA
- You have a desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
- You have proven leadership skill and can take initiative to seek understanding
- You display strong attention to detail, problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
