Partner & Alliance Manager

This is a remote position.
Under the guidance of the Chief Revenue Officer, the Partner & Alliance Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering strategic technology partnerships and overseeing partner-related initiatives. Initially, the focus will be on bolstering brand visibility within identified partner segments and nurturing relationships with various Microsoft entities. As the organization progresses and expands its partner network, this role will evolve accordingly.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the seamless transition of partner-generated opportunities to the Sales Team through the VP, Business Development.
- Stay updated on industry trends including software licensing, cloud computing, managed services, and recurring revenue models.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Microsoft's ecosystem and technological advancements.
- Stay informed about system integration, software development, deployment, and legacy system migration.
- Familiarize yourself with company methodologies such as Sales, Strategic Account Management, and Partner Accounts.
- Develop, review, and negotiate partner agreements.
- Establish key performance indicators, monitor performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to align with corporate goals.
- Actively engage in the business community through social media platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Information Systems.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications in Sales, Product Fundamentals, or Project Management.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or partner management.
- Demonstrated track record in conducting business reviews and delivering technology services to clients and partners.
- Experience leading corporate initiatives is preferred.
- Background in Marketing and Brand Management is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of partnership benefits.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management applications, preferably Microsoft D365.
- Proficiency in Power Platform and Cloud Computing.
- Resourcefulness in problem-solving.
- Proficient in negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated confidence and enthusiasm.
- Flexibility to travel; possession of a valid passport is required.
- Must be a resident of Canada or the United States with legal authorization to work in the respective country.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
