Job Description:

  • Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide information to patients, addressing inquiries and directing them to appropriate personnel
  • Greet patients and accurately register patients by obtaining complete demographics, Ohip information and consent.
  • Optimize clinic capacity by ensuring tasks including New bookings + Rescheduling + Cancellation + Arrivals + Upload Reports are completed in a timely manner.
  • Manage patient checkins, enquiries and phone calls. Schedule and confirm patient appointments and follow ups
  • Ensure maximum client satisfaction through a highquality service approach
- respond to patient inquiries in a courteous and empathetic manner.

  • Facilitate patient flow by communicating patients' arrival. Build rapport with patients by responding to inquiries and communicate next steps to patient.
  • Maintain attention to detail for all medical records. Scan documents into patient charts.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all required forms and documentation are completed per check in protocols.
  • Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide and gather information, enabling patient requirements to be dealt with efficiently.
  • Complete administration tasks including confirmations, chart checks and phone calls.
  • Must be willing to learn/ do Holter patching and Ecg procedures.

The Requirements:

  • Medical office experience
  • Experience in ECG and Holter patching is an asset
  • Demonstrated high quality, compassionate, customer centered experience
  • Proven ability to work proficiently and independently in a busy fast paced environment
  • Ability to establish priorities and achieve objectives with mínimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior telephone etiquette
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology
  • EMR systems experience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information with a high degree of privacy and diplomacy
  • The ability to provide occasional coverage at other Civic Heart Locations

$20.00-$22.00 per hour
