As a member of Trojan Technologies' Senior Team, the Vice President of Marketing and Product Strategy will lead all aspects of marketing and product management and provide leadership to successfully develop and execute the company's global marketing and product management strategy.

They will be responsible for Trojan Technologies' strategic planning process and drive the long-term commercial success of new and existing products across the portfolio supporting $350M revenue for Trojan Technologies globally.

This role reports to the President of Trojan Technologies and is based on site in London, Ontario.

The
VP, Marketing and Product Strategy will partner closely with Leaders in various geographies and regions to drive profitable revenue increase through implementing strategic initiatives, targeting attractive market segments, spearheading pricing and share gain activities.

They will assess current and future market conditions, conduct competitive analysis, and drive effective portfolio management to optimize share gain and profitability.

A key to success is this role is to identify major changes in the business environment, customer base, and competitive landscape, converting these insights into strategies focused on extending Trojan Technologies' competitive advantages.


To accomplish these goals, it will be critical for the VP of Marketing and Product Strategy to build a world-class team that leverages the Danaher Business System and is powered by Diversity and Inclusion.

This includes identifying opportunities to "raise the bar" for individuals and the team through effective coaching and engagement as well as instilling a continuous improvement culture.

They will be equipped and prepared to provide deeper insight and best practices to complement their direct reports.

In addition, this leader will make a personal investment in fostering internal relationships to nurture a culture based on respect, teamwork, communication, and results.


Accountabilities

  • Serve as a key member of the Trojan Technologies L1 team that sets the company's strategic direction and demonstrates enterprisewide leadership.
  • Develop and execute a growth strategy for Trojan Technologies by identifying attractive target segments, planning product innovations and portfolio improvements, developing partnerships with external companies, and M&A activities.
  • Ensure rigorous portfolio management through defining and implementing a product roadmap based on customer requirement, presenting clear value propositions, and executing on product rationalization and product cost improvements.
  • Work closely with R&D to drive new product development processes to support revenue growth. Improve customer satisfaction through comprehensive validation of new products against customer usecases and market needs.
  • Drive incremental revenue generated via nonsales channels. Develop and execute strategies to drive demand generation that fuels both shortterm and sustainable longterm growth.
  • Define and execute our digital marketing and ecommerce strategy to support business growth.
  • Drive innovation around communication with customers to create a strong Trojan Technologies brand. Work with the regional marketing teams to execute ondemand creation campaigns targeted at priority verticals and customers.
  • Create sustainable capability within the commercial organization by identifying improvement opportunities and leading kaizen activities.
