The incumbent will be responsible for performing Direct Support duties in manufacturing in accordance with good manufacturing practices and established standard operating procedures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform valve loadin, loadout, labeling and transfer of valves
  • Clean and sanitize the machines as needed
  • Perform bioburden reduction process and prepare DI water as required
  • Monitor and maintain solution change requirements for valves
  • Perform final packaging and repackaging of valves
  • Maintain traceability and proper documentation on all work, materials, and components
  • Ensure equipment has been calibrated prior to use
  • Observe safety requirement and follow safety protocols in the work area
  • Perform daily monitoring of equipment and environment as required
  • Handle chemicals as required after proper training
  • Perform other production support duties as required.
  • Prepare solutions and operate the Branson cleaning machine and Ultrasonic Cleaning

Other Requirements:

  • Be able to lift and transfer 8 to 10 L carboy/s to the working area.
  • Follow 6S initiative, maintain inventory of materials in their respective area. Organize storage of components and supplies
  • Perform cleaning of critical controlled areas, gowning rooms and uncontrolled areas in accordance with established procedures
  • High school education or equivalent required
  • Previous manufacturing or production work experience, machine operation experience, some data entry or record keeping experience will be an asset
