Pharmacy Technician Job Description

At Save-On-Foods, we're committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality patient-centered care. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a vital role in our pharmacy team, working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure our customers receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from practitioners
  • Transferring prescriptions to and receiving prescriptions from other pharmacies
  • Ensuring prescription accuracy and authenticity
  • Performing technical functions of dispensing prescriptions
  • Supporting and maintaining dispensary and front store operations
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Adhering to operational procedures and company policies
  • Observing and directing Pharmacy Assistants and Clerks
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Regulated Pharmacy Technician license
  • Good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC
  • Pharmacy dispensary experience or Kroll computer experience an asset
