Our Downtown client is seeking a Senior Development Accountant to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will take on key responsibilities such as:

  • Handling all aspects of accounting for development projects independently.
  • Maintaining job cost chart of accounts in Yardi.
  • Collaborating with western development teams, attending project meetings, and providing financial updates.
  • Preparing financial reports, loan draws, and capital calls.
  • Assisting in project status reporting and tracking cash needs.
  • Coordinating the transition of income-producing properties to development status.
  • Contributing to the design of internal controls.
  • Providing accurate and timely financial information.
  • Completing all job functions accurately and efficiently.
  • Adding value by enabling better project management, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Job Requirements: The ideal candidate should have over 3 years of hands-on Development Accounting experience, along with proficiency in liaising with Development and Finance teams. Knowledge of proformas and Yardi is advantageous. Strong MS Excel and ERP skills, as well as excellent communication skills, are essential.
