Job Summary:


Cordo Resto +Bar is seeking an inspiring leader who leads in the coordination and direction of the daily operations of food and beverage service for Cordo resto + bar to provide an elevated guest experience.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Actively promotes a vertical mindset in the work place
  • Inspires and motivates the food and beverage team
  • Coaching and training staff to enhance service experience
  • Participates in HR duties including but limited to:
employee development, training, hiring, coaching, recognition

  • Schedules all direct reports and manages daily labour and ensures it is within budget
  • Actively contributes to the restaurant marketing brand management through promos and social media campaigns
  • Drives the development of new business
  • Ownership of beverage controls, inventories, ordering and receiving
  • Liaise with kitchen team to ensure operational success and food quality
  • Liaise with all hotel department as necessary to ensure
total guest satisfaction

  • Daily opening floor checks and closing floor checks
  • Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs

Qualifications
-
Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role:


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. Experience within a hotel food and beverage environment considered an asset
- certification mandatory

  • Must have Serving it right and Food safe certifications
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, train and inspire employees
  • Possess a positive attitude and works well with other team members
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership and decision making skills
  • Experienced in Budgeting, Costing, and Inventory Control
  • Open availability: Evenings and Weekends required
